This Privacy Policy describes how Ringo Pets (“Ringo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information when you use the Ringo Pets mobile application (the “App”). By creating an account or accessing the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described herein. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the App.


2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate and improve the App.

2.1 Information Provided by Users

  • Email address
  • Password
  • Profile details (name and affiliation if part of a shelter or rescue)
  • Adoptable dog listings and related content (for authorized animal shelters and rescue organizations only)
  • Uploaded media, including photos of dogs available for adoption

We do not collect sensitive data such as financial information, government identification numbers, or precise location data.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device type, operating system, and app version
  • IP address and usage logs
  • Unique device token for push notifications (if enabled)

We do not track your activity across other applications or websites.


3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information solely for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Creating and managing user accounts
  • Allowing approved shelters and rescues to post adoptable dogs
  • Facilitating interactions and follow activity related to adoption
  • Providing support and responding to inquiries
  • Enhancing functionality, security, and user experience
  • Preventing misuse, fraud, or violations of policies

We do not sell personal information.


4. How We Share Information

We disclose data only to trusted service providers who assist in operating the App:

Upon deletion of an account, data will be removed from our systems within a commercially reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

Ringo Pets is not intended for individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that such data has been collected, it will be deleted promptly.


8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights related to your data:

Push notifications may be disabled at any time through device settings.

The App is operated in the United States. If you access the App from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States, where laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

We may modify or update this Privacy Policy periodically. If changes materially affect your rights, we will notify you via the App or by email where legally required. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
